'Skippi' - a new brightly coloured electric wheelchair designed especially for children.
Children learn by being actively involved in their surroundings and the Skippi's speed and high degree of manoeuvrability help support the child's urge to move and the pleasure they derive from making discoveries. The child intuitively and safely controls the hand device functions with the help of self-explaining symbols on the control panel.
Young children are at times demanding and as parents / carers we are required to adapt to all situations and the design of the new Skippi enables us to do this without the need to compromise whilst removable side panels and footrests ensure easy transfer into and out of the wheelchair plus offering individual leg support.
Various additional options are available including a bumper bar which is fitted to the front frame offering protection to both the unit and child when participating in more vigorous activities. The Skippi is also highly versatile in other ways as the frame grows with the child in its seat depth and width yet the chair is compact and can be easily disassembled to fit into small cars for easy transportation.
